Use the Individual Size Chart

Compare your measurements with the chart for the specific garment. Letter sizes and fit can vary between styles. Check whether the chart gives body measurements or garment measurements.

Measurements to Check

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
  • Waist: Measure around your natural waist without pulling the tape tight.
  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
  • Torso girth: Where required, follow the product chart’s measuring diagram for one-piece garments.
  • Inseam and length: Compare the listed measurements with your preferred fit and intended footwear.

Careful Fit Check

Before removing tags, check fit indoors over suitable clean underlayers. Make gentle movements to assess reach, coverage, and comfort without stretching the garment beyond its intended fit.

Do not begin a practice session or performance until you are satisfied with the garment. Keep it free from makeup, deodorant, fragrance, and marks if you may wish to return it.

Washing

Follow the sewn-in care label and supplied instructions. Do not assume a garment is suitable for machine washing, soaking, bleach, fabric softener, or dry cleaning.

Mesh, fringe, elastic, decorative trims, and contrasting fabrics may require different care. If instructions are missing or unclear, contact us before cleaning.

Drying and Storage

Use only the drying and ironing methods permitted by the care label. Protect delicate surfaces and trims from heat, crushing, and snagging.

Store garments clean and completely dry using a method appropriate to their construction.

Before Dancing

Check seams, elastic, straps, and fasteners. Keep hems, ties, fringe, and wide trouser legs clear of your feet and surrounding equipment.

Stop wearing a garment if damaged parts or an unsuitable fit interfere with movement. Dancewear is not protective equipment and does not prevent injury.
